‘I’m more hungry than when we didn’t have food’

CINCINNATI — Joshua Reid learned early in life the importance of working hard and never giving up. His mom worked three jobs to support him and his younger brother and still could “barely keep the lights on,” he said. “But every day we woke up, she kept our hair cut. She kept us dressed nice. You would never think we were going through what we were going through,” Reid said. “That taught me something. It taught me resilience.”
